What worrys me is that Asha has left the iron islands in defiance of her father. In the books this only occured after Euron is named king. The whole greyjoy plot with Euron and Victarion no longer happens with Yara/Asha involved. All of the greyjoy plotline is thrown out of order. 3.
This is the second of a series of four graphic novels that adapts George R. R. Martin's novel of the same name. The first season of the HBO series was adapted from the same novel, but seasons 2 through 5 are adaptations of later novels in the series. 4. [deleted] • 8 yr. ago. They are not difficult at all and are, as usual, much better than the TV show, which is not bad, mind you, but the books are richly layered. I started reading them and frankly just got kind of bogged down in all the detail and quit. I'm not a huge fan of this genre of book to begin with.
It was referred to as the Kingdom of Isles and Rivers and included the Riverlands and the Iron Islands (where House Hoare originated).
